Box Score SAVANNAH, Ga. – The Barry University women's tennis dropped its third straight match earlier this afternoon falling to the Ospreys of the University of North Florida by the score of 5-4 at the AASU Tennis Complex.
Things did not look good from the start for the Bucs (12-7, 6-2 SSC) as they quickly dropped all three doubles matches with the closest match being a 9-8 loss by Maria Lopez and Carole Steinhauser in the number spot to North Florida's (11-6, 7-3 PBC) Melody LeGoff and Camila Sagae.
The Bucs, however, quickly rebounded taking four of the six singles matches including a 6-4, 6-2 win by Natascha Loebnitz at the top flight over the Ospreys Sagae. Also picking up points for the Bucs were
Greta Trotman at # 2, Arabella Martin at # 4 and Carole Steinhauser at # 5.
The Bucs return to action tomorrow morning when they meet up with Armstrong Atlantic at 10:00 am in Savannah.
