Box Score MIAMI SHORES, Fla.—The Barry Buccaneers dropped the Eckerd College Tritons 7-2 in women's tennis action on Saturday.

The Bucs (6-0, 2-0 SSC), still playing short-handed with Conny Grunes out, forfeited the number three doubles and number six singles to the Tritons (3-2, 0-1 SSC).

Natascha Loebnitz and Maria Lopez remained undefeated at the top doubles flight, beating Maga Correa and Amanda McClura 8-3. Greta Trotman and Arabella Martin made it 2-0 Barry by beating Rachael Sanches and Tiffanie Kaludda 8-2.

The Bucs took five of six singles matches. Loebnitz beat Sanches 6-0, 6-3 at the top flight, while Martin clinched the match with a 6-2, 6-1 win over Correa at number five.

Trotman topped Kaludda 6-1, 6-0 at the second flight and Carole Steinhauser defeated Sonia Ramcharan 6-1, 6-2 at the fifth slot.

Barry takes on Tampa Sunday February 22nd at 11:00 am at the Buccaneer Tennis Center.
