Box Score MIAMI SHORES, Fla.—The Eckerd Tritons spoiled the Barry Buccaneers' Homecoming with a 72-62 win in the Health & Sports Center Saturday afternoon.
The Tritons closed the first half with a 17-9 run to take a 34-26 lead into the half. They started the second half with a 9-4 run to increase their lead to 43-30 on a three-pointer by Sharrod McCree with 15:05 remaining.
Barry (13-12, 6-6 SSC) never got closer than seven points the rest of the way and the Tritons (16-9, 8-5 SSC) held on for a double-figure win.

Nick Ellingsworth-Perez led all scorers with 22 points, while Clifford Smith added 15 and Casey Johnson had 10. Steve Berg led the Tritons with 18 points, hitting six-of-eight from three-point range. Marcus Bryant had 17 and Anthony Washington added 15.
The Bucs play their last home game on Wednesday, February 25 against the Florida Tech Panthers at 7:30 pm.
