Box Score MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- The third-ranked Barry University women's tennis team blanked the Nova Southeastern Knights 7-0 earlier today at the Buccaneer Tennis Complex.

The Buccaneers took both doubles matches with Natasha Loebnitz and Maria Lopez teaming up to shutdown Nova's Michelle Alvarez and Stephanie Zevallos 8-0. Greta Trotman and Carole Steinhauser took the Bucs second doubles match-up 8-1 over the Knights' Haydee Pabon and Victoria Drescher.

Still playing for the injured Cornelia Grunes at number one singles, Barry's Loebnitz defeated Alvarez 6-1, 6-2. Lopez, Trotman, Steinhauser and Arabella Martin took the bottom four flights 6-0, 6-0.

The Buccaneers will return to action on Friday, Feb. 13 hosting Florida Gulf Coast at the Buccaneer Tennis Complex at 3 pm.
