Box Score SAINT LEO -- The Barry University men's basketball team fell to Saint Leo 48-33 Saturday afternoon at the Marion Bowman Activities Center.

In a low scoring first half, Saint Leo (6-15, 2-8 SSC)jumped out to an early 9-1 lead at the 10:53 mark and held on to that lead going into the half up 21-13.

In the second half, the Lions again came out strong going on a 10-4 run with 12:33 to play. The Bucs (14-8, 4-6 SSC) managed to cut the lead to eight at 33-25, but it was not enough as Saint Leo held on for the 48-33 victory.

The Bucs Luis Vasquez-Bello led all scorers with 14 points.

Saint Leo was led by Kenard Orange who paced the Lions with 8 points

Barry returns to action Wednesday at 7:30 as they play host to Florida Southern at the Health & Sports Center.
