Delilah Stroup and Kim Fujimoto each went two-for-four to pace the Bucs.

In the second game, the Alabama-Huntsville Chargers scored four runs on three doubles in the first to take an early 4-0 lead. The Bucs tried to mount a comeback in the fourth scoring two runs, but the Chargers added a run in the fifth and sixth innings to down the Bucs 6-2. Erin Cormier (2-1) suffered her first loss of the season giving up six earned runs in seven innings and struck out nine. Krista Latessa led the Bucs with a one-for-three performance and an RBI.

The Bucs scored a run in the first and then six unanswered runs in the third inning to take an early 7-0 lead over south region rival Valdosta State. The Bucs added one more run in the fourth to secure the 8-0 win in five innings and racked up 11 hits. Elam (8-0) hurled five innings and struck out five to maintain her perfect record.
