Box Score WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -- The Barry University women's tennis team landed the Northwood (Fla.) Seahawks 6-3 earlier today in tennis action.

Victoria Courmes and Cornelia Grunes teamed up to post the Buccaneers only doubles win 8-3 over the Seahawks Melanie Roy and Annie Deshamps.

However, the Bucs stormed the singles winning five of the six matches. Courmes led the Bucs at number one defeating Roy 6-3, 6-1 while Grunes stormed Northwood's Avni Kazakevich 6-1, 6-0. The Buccaneers improved to 3-0 with the win and return to the clay hosting Saint Leo at 10 am Saturday, Feb. 15.
