Box Score LOS ANGELES, Calif.--The Buccaneers extended their school-record winning streak to 17 matches with a 6-3 win over UC San Diego in the semi-finals of the Xenia Anastasiadou Spring Classic hosted by Cal Poly Pomona.
The Bucs swept all three doubles matches and then captured the top three singles flights to clinch the win.
Maria Lopez capped off the victory with a 6-1, 6-1 win at number three singles.
The Bucs lost in three sets at number four and five singles after the match was decided.
The Bucs advance to play the Sea Warriors of Hawai'i Pacific in the finals tomorrow.
