Box Score LAKELAND, Fla.--The Barry Buccaneers (20-3) crushed the host Florida Southern Mocs 5-1 on Friday to advance to the championship match of the Sunshine State Conference Women's Tennis Tournament.
The Bucs swept the doubles and Gizella Turbok and Valeria Papandrea made quick work of their opponents to seal the win. The Mocs only point came at number four singles when Barry's Bojana Miladinovic was forced to default.
The win was the Bucs' 20th straight win this season, extending their school record.
The Bucs will face #2-seed Lynn at 9:00 am on Saturday for the championship.
