Box Score MIAMI SHORES, Fla.--The Barry Buccaneers muzzled the Wingate Bulldogs 9-6 in baseball action at Feinbloom Field Friday night.
Keith Hameister (2-1) pitched 6.1 strong innings, allowing only two runs, one earned, on seven hits and one walk, while striking out 10.
The Bucs blew the game open with a seven-run sixth inning highlighted by Alex Lorenzo's first home run of the season, a three-run shot.
Marc Church (1-1) took the loss for the Bulldogs, allowing three earned runs on five hits and seven walks in 5.2 innings while striking out four.
The Bulldogs fall to 12-9-1, while Barry improves to 10-7. The Bucs will host Tri-State on Saturday, March 10 at 6:00 pm.
