Box Score HOMESTEAD, Fla. -- Four costly Millersville errors proved fatal as the Barry University baseball team outlasted the Marauders 4-3 earlier this afternoon at the Homestead Challenge.

The Buccaneers jumped on the board early scoring two runs in the first inning, but the Marauders jumped back tying the game at two a piece in the third. With the game tied at three in the seventh, Joglys Ramos scored the go ahead run on a Luis Boullon sacrifice fly and that was all the Bucs needed for the 4-3 victory.

Jonathan Sandola (2-0) picked up his second win of the season after giving up three runs on ten hits in seven innings, while striking out two. John Vinciguerra came in in the eighth and picked up his first save of the season in two innings of work and allowed two hits, while striking out two. Jeremy Wunderlich (2-1) took the loss for the Maruaders going the distance in eight innings. He game up four runs (two earned) on six hits, while striking out five.

The Bucs were led by Ramos who went two-for-three with an RBI, a double, and a run scored. Ricky Sanchez added a two-for-four performance with a run scored.

The Buccaneers improved to 16-9 overall, while the Marauders fell to 6-3. The Bucs will return home for a three-game homestand this weekend hosting Eckerd College for the season's conference opening weekend. Game one is scheduled for Friday, Mar. 22 at 6 p.m.
