Box Score MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- Scoring two runs in the bottom of the eighth inning was just what the Barry University baseball team needed to land the Palm Beach Atlantic Sailfish 10-8 earlier tonight at Feinbloom Field.
Down 6-5 going into the bottom of the seventh inning, the Buccaneers scored three runs to take an 8-6 lead with only two innings left to play. However, the Sailfish evened the odds with two runs in the eighth. But the Bucs scored two more runs in the bottom of the eighth and got solid pitching from Gerry Guarch to hold on to a 10-8 victory.
