Women's Tennis Crushes Moccasins

Box Score MIAMI SHORES, Fla.--The Barry women's tennis team crushed the Florida Southern Moccasins 9-0 in Sunshine State Conference action Friday at the Buccaneer Tennis Complex.

Barry swept the doubles, winning the first two sets 8-2, then winning the final set 8-3. In singles, Barry's Victoria Courmes struggled with FSC's
Alexandria Costa Corral at number one, but was able to pull out the victory winning 7-6, 6-4. Teammates Maria Lopez and Ewa Kleczek took their matches with ease winning 6-0, 6-1 at number three and number five respectively.

The win was the second of the season for the Bucs, improving their record to 2-3. Florida Southern drops to 1-2. The Bucs will return to action tomorrow hosting Saint Leo at 10 a.m.
