Box Score MIAMI SHORES, Fla.--The Barry men's team skinned by the Puerto Rico-Cayey Toritos 55-51 in men's basketball action Friday afternoon in the Health & Sports Center.

The Bucs led 51-36 with 5:04 left in the game, but the Toritos put on a furious press and cut the lead to 54-51 with :18 seconds remaining on a layup by Leonardo Rosario. Andres Alfonso converted one of two free throws on the subsequent possession and Cayey was unable to get a final shot off to leave the final margin.

Nick Ellingsworth-Perez led the Bucs (3-0) with 17 points and Bryan Mills added 14 points and 12 rebounds. Alfonso came off the bench to chip in a season-high 10 points. Axel Rivera led four Toritos in double figures with 16 points. Rosario and Luis Morales each had 11 and Luis Valentin had 10.

The Bucs take on Florida Gulf Coast tomorrow at noon.
