                    Box Score SAINT LEO, Fla. -- Despite Fernando Tapia's outstanding performance in his first appearance of the season, the Buccaneer baseball team fell 1-0 to the Saint Leo Lions in the final game of a three game series.
Going the distance for the Buccaneers, Tapia (0-1) took the loss despite allowing only four hits, giving up one walk, and one run, while striking out three.
Josh Neitz (1-0) earned the win for the Lions giving up only three hits, while striking out eight.
The only score of the game came on a Trevor Hall solo home run in the bottom of the fourth, and that was all the Lions needed for the victory.
The Buccaneers fall to 1-2 overall while the Lions improved to 2-1. The Buccaneers will return to action on Tuesday, January 29 at Nova Southeastern at 7:00 p.m.
