Box Score ST. PETERSBURG, Fla.--The Barry men's basketball team fell 61-47 to Eckerd College at the MacArthur Center Saturday night in Sunshine State Conference action.

The Buccaneers, playing with only eight players, were not able to handle the much quicker Tritons.

Curtis Tonge led the Bucs for the 11th straight game with 17 points. Yorell Calderon added 10 points off the bench. For the Tritons, Sharrod McCree and Brian Stapf each had 15 points and Cerwin Thompson added 11 points and 11 rebounds.

Barry falls to 9-6, 2-2 in the SSC. Eckerd improves to 14-2, 4-0 in the conference.
