MIAMI SHORES - Senior guard Travon Broadway had 29 points, but it wasn't enough as Saint Leo defeated Barry in overtime Saturday at the Health and Sports Center.

Down 44-37 at the half, Barry came back and had a 79-78 lead heading into the final minute. But the Lions (10-10, 3-6 Sunshine State Conference) managed to tie the game at 81 on the strength of a 3-point play from senior forward Gary Downing, who led the Lions with 27 points and 11 rebounds. Senior guard Jason Junker, who had 13 points and eight assists, had a chance to give Barry (13-8, 2-6 SSC) the win in regulation, but missed a short jumper in the lane as time expired.

Junior guard Curtis Tonge added 17 points for the Buccaneers.
