A pair of two point losses to the top two teams in the Sunshine State Conference probably has Coach Cesar Odio thinking he's Charlie Brown. The Buccaneers (9-5/0-2 SSC) were clipped 60-58 by 5th ranked Lynn University in Boca Raton last Wednesday, and then Florida Southern, which was ranked in the NCAA II top 20 in the pre-season, nudged the Bucs 57-55 in Lakeland this past Saturday night.The irony of it all is that Barry had last second shots in both games that would have won it. It's a world of difference being 2-0 and 0-2 in league play at this point of the season. However, both Lynn and Florida Southern must visit Miami Shores later in the season. Against Lynn, Barry's Cliff Dubois had the ball stripped away in the last few seconds of the game; and, against Florida Southern, Yorell Calderon missed a game-winning three-pointer with four seconds left. Ow.
