Box Score MIAMI SHORES, Fla.--The Barry Buccaneers swung past the Tarzans of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez 73-64 at the Health & Sports Center in men's basketball action Wednesday night.

The Bucs (1-2) trailed by as much as 16 in the first half and 37-30 at the intermission. But they came out smoking in the second half, out-scoring the Tarzans (0-5) 23-5 in the first seven minutes of the period to take a 53-42 lead.

Curtis Tonge led the Bucs with 24 points and 10 rebounds, while Luis Vazquez-Bello chipped in 14 off the bench. Ariel Olszewski led the Tarzans with 24 points and Fernando Gutman added 17.

The Bucs are back in action on Friday, Nov. 23 against Puerto Rico-Cayey at 7:30 pm.
