HAROLD AT A GLANCE: Harold battled all of last year with nagging injuries but played a huge role in the BUCS success. It was most evident in the regional with highlight-like plays in center field. Harold’s speed makes him a weapon both on offense and defense.
JUNIOR (2011): Played in 45 games with 31 starts...Hit .219 on the year with one home run and 10 RBIs...Went 2 for 3 with a run scored and 2 RBIs on April 19 in a 6-0 win over Nova Southeastern...Finished fourth on the team with 8 stolen bases in 9 attempts...Member of the Athletic Director's List (3.2-3.499 GPA) in the fall as well as a member of the Dean's List (3.5-3.999 GPA for the Spring semester.
SOPHOMORE (2010): Played in 30 games with eight starts… Belted 14 RBIs, one home run, and slugged .426… Blasted his first career grand slam on March 16 against Caldwell… Tallied three mult- hit games and three mulit-RBI games… Stole five bases on eight attempts... Played for the Petesburg Generals in the Coastal Plains League over the summer… Batted .186 with 38 starts and 44 appearances… Added three doubles and three RBIs… Took a 6-7 mark on the base path… Named to the spring 2010 Athletic Director’s List and the SSC Commissioner’s Spring Honor Roll.
FRESHMAN (2009): Played in 38 games with 12 starts ... Hit .339 for the season with one home run ... Had seven extra base hits ... Hit a .525 slugging percentage ... Scored 21 runs for the Bucs.
HIGH SCHOOL: Played for John A. Ferguson High under head coach Jose Novas ... Earned one academic letter and three varsity letters playing baseball for the Falcons ... In 24 games as a senior, tallied a .312 batting average, three home runs, 18 RBI and went 13-for-13 in stolen bases ... For his career, batted an even .300 at the plate, seven home runs and 40 stolen bases ... Two-time defensive Player of the Year ... Second-Team All-Dade and MVP of the Year. Scholar-Athlete Award, twice ... Golden Spikes Award, Coaches Award and team captain all four years.
