NORMAN, Okla.- Bushnell/Golfweek released the DII 2026 preseason coaches poll for men's golf.
The Barry men placed 12 out of 25 teams earning 191 points in the vote by coaches.
Florida Southern was picked the preseason favorite for the 2026-27 season. The Moccasins are expected to win their 15th Championship after receiving 430 points and 13 first-place votes.
Lee ranked second in the voting with 398 points and two first place vote, while Georgia Southwestern landed in third with 387 points. Grand Valley State was fourth in the poll with 324 points, Columbus State was fifth with 322 points, Wingate landed in Sixth with 272 points and the final first place vote, Nova Southeastern University placed seventh with 265 points, Lincoln Memorial was eighth with 249 points, Catwaba placed ninth with 244 points, Central Oklahoma came in at tenth with 233 points, with Saint Leo Coming in at 11th with 193 pints, Barry rounded out the top 12.
The NCAA Division II super regional competition will take place from Thursday, May 6th to Saturday, May 8th, at Lake Jovita Golf Course in Lake Jovita, Fla. The National Championship will be Monday, May 17th to Friday, May 21st, at PGA National Resort and Spa in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.
