PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. -- The Barry University men's golf team opened up the season at the National Preview in Palm Beach Gardens hosted by Nova South Eastern and placed fifth out of the 10 teams in attendance. This not only marks the start of the season for the Bucs but also the beginning of Juan Yumar's career as the Bucs head coach. The Bucs finished over two SSC opponents Lynn University and Palm Beach Atlantic.
Anthony Amoroso led the team, finishing tied for 12th place with scores of 72-70-74—216 (E). Both Emiliano Del Sol and Santiago Navarro made their collegiate debut.
