MIAMI SHORES, Fla. - The Barry University men’s lacrosse program announces its class of defensive transfers for the 2027 season. Based on the group at hand, it appears to present quite an amount of continuity immediately as three out of seven defensive transfers played at CCBC-Essex. Their collegiate playing experience can be pivotal towards the team’s success this upcoming season as each individual has the ability to bring something different to the table on the defensive side of the field. The head coach of the Buccaneers in Alex Williams brought in three defensive poles, two long-stick midfielders, and two defensive midfielders.
“We’re excited to add this group of defensive transfer to our program. They bring experience, physicality and a competitive edge that will strengthen our defensive unit and programs mentality!” Head coach Williams said. “This group has the ability to make an impact not only on, but most importantly off the field while becoming important pieces of our program. Lasty, this group brings a lot of versatility and experience to our defense.”
