SURPRISE, Ariz. -- The top-seeded Barry Buccaneers will face ninth-seed Azusa Pacific in the quarterfinals of the 2026 NCAA Division II Men's Tennis Championships at Surprise Tennis & Racquet Club on Thursday.

The Bucs sprinted past 16th-seed Jefferson in less than a 1:30 hours 4-0, while the Cougars slogged through a 4-3 upset of #8 UIndy in the first round, in a match that last nearly 4:30.

Barry is 6-0 all-time against the Cougars, with the last meeting in 2018 in Melbourne, Fla. The Bucs beat APU 5-0 in 2015 in Surprise on their way to their third national championship.

The match is set for 12:00 PM Eastern Time (9:00 AM in Surprise) at the Surprise Tennis & Racquet Club.
