MELBOURNE, Fla.- The Sunshine State Conference has announced the 2026 All-Conference Men's Outdoor Track Awards, with Jejuan Gillispie being the only Barry men's track & field athlete to be selected. Gillispie was selected for the All-SSC Second Team for his performance in the men's 800-meters. 

Gillispie has had a record-breaking year this season, including holding the school record for the men's 800 meters (1:51.56). He also holds all four top times in the event in school history. The Junior also has the record for the program's fastest time in the men's 1500 meters (3:56.81). This is his second time earning an All-SSC Award, with his first one being in 2025 for the men's 4x400 relay. This is Barry's First time being selected for an Individual SSC honor in program history.
