ORLANDO, Fla. - A select group of runners from both the men's and women's track and field teams were chosen to represent Barry University at the 2026 UCF Knights Invite that consisted of a heavy NCAA DI field. The invite began on Friday, Mar. 27th and concluded on Saturday, Mar. 28th.

- Kruz Jimenez set a top-ten longest distance in school history in the men's long jump (6.75m)
- Jimenez also set a top-ten time in school history for the men's 110 hurdles (15.18)
- Jimenez then set the third-fastest time in school history in the men's 400 hurdles (56.76)
- Danielle Ouko-Omondi set the third fastest time in school history for the women's 400 hurdles (1:06.56)
- Katie-Marie Sherlock clocked a top-10 time in the 200m dash (26.21)
- Sherlock also competed in the 400m run and checked in at 23 in the field of 50 runners with a time of 57.13.
UP NEXT
The Bucs will return to action on April 2nd, where they will compete in the Embry-Riddle Running Elements Classic at the ERAU Track & Field Complex in Daytona Beach, Fla.
