ORLANDO – The Sunshine State Conference named a record 934 student-athletes to the 2025 Fall Commissioner's Honor Roll. The awards were announced on Tuesday, February 10, by SSC Commissioner Chris Graham. Of the student-athletes recognized, 259 carried a perfect 4.00 grade-point average for the fall semester.
Barry had 74 members of the honor roll, including 14 with 4.0 GPAs.
This year's student-athlete total breaks the previous record number of 896 student-athletes named to the 2024 Fall Commissioner's Honor Roll. It is the 13th consecutive record-breaking fall for the SSC Honor Roll.
Volleyball's Valeriya Kozlova was one of eight conference athletes to earn major awards on their all-conference teams. Kozlova, the freshman and player of the year, was one of four such players with a 4.0 GPA.
Student-athletes must post a minimum grade-point average of 3.20 on a scale of 4.00 to be eligible for the Fall SSC Commissioner's Honor Roll. Participants in men's and women's cross country, men's and women's soccer, and volleyball were eligible for the fall honor roll.
Having won 136 Division II National Championships since the league was founded in 1975, SSC student-athletes have proven successful in competition in addition to the classroom. The SSC ranked first among NCAA Division II conferences in ASR (Academic Success Rate) for the third-straight year in 2024-25 and has never fallen below second in the metric's 19-year history.
