"As our roster sizes continue to grow, we understood that upholding our academic standards would be a significant challenge. However, true to the Buc spirit, we embraced that challenge and demonstrated why we are champions both in competition and in the classroom—across the courts, fields, water, track, and beyond. I am incredibly proud of the dedication shown by our student-athletes, coaches, and support staff throughout the fall semester. Their commitment to academic and athletic excellence is unmatched. Through the collective efforts of our coaches, staff, and advisors, we achieved a 3.402 term GPA, with 68.6 percent of our student-athletes earning honor roll recognition, including 51 who posted a perfect 4.0. Our Bucs also made strong progress in internships and job placement opportunities, thanks to the leadership of our newly appointed Assistant AD for Academic Success, Mariana Bertran, the CEL department, and our expanded partnership with CASA for third- and fourth-year students. A sincere thank you to our academic support staff, CASA, the Glenn Hubert Learning Center, academic advisors, graduate assistants, work-study students, and tutors who made these accomplishments possible." - Associate Athletic Director/Academic Success Frank Gonzalez.
