LAKELAND, Fla. -- The Barry Buccaneers men's golf team finished day one of the Matlock Collegiate Classic in deadlocked in a three-way tie for third place after carding 288-288--576 (E).  

The field consist of 11 teams and 80 players. 

NOTEWORTHY:

• The Bucs recorded a single eagle. 
• Totaled 102 pars and 35 birdies.
• Anthony Garcia carded -7 on par-5 holes, good for third among all golfers at the event. 
• The Bucs were first in Par 5s with a score of -23. 

ON THE HORIZON:

The Bucs will play the third round tomorrow.
