ORANGEBURG, NY — In game two of a four game stint in the northeast, the Barry Men's Volleyball team falls in three sets against Dominican University from the Hennessy Center on Thursday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Set One - Barry grabbed the first two points as the Chargers started off with a service error and then Tristan Blake returned with a service ace. The Bucs held as much as a five point lead until DUNY closed that gap and flipped the scoreboard to 20-19 in their favor. Dominican had a very efficient offensive set hitting .647 with 13 kills and just two attacking errors. | Barry 23, DUNY 25
- Set Two - Blake helped start off the set in favor of the Buccaneers again with two service aces. Both teams traded points for the majority of the set until three straight points from DUNY gave the game separation. What started off strong in the set with service, ended up being the downfall of the Bucs in the set who committed seven service errors. | Barry 22, DUNY 25
- Set Three - The final set was determined by long runs that DUNY was able to provide, while their defense held Barry to just one run of more than points in a row. The Chargers had a match high 14-kills in the final set and hit .440 with just three errors. | Barry 17, DUNY 25
NOTEWORTHY:
- Colton Beres led the offense with nine kills. It is the third game he has led the team in kills
- Beres also recorded the most digs with seven.
- Bobby Clapp handled a majority of the serves and avoided being aced.
- Barry led in blocks for the match (6-5).

The trip to the big apple concludes on Friday with a double-header. First game is at 11:00am against St. Thomas Aquinas and game two will be at 7:00pm versus Long Island.
