WARREN, Ohio -- The Barry Buccaneers men's golf team was one of four teams to score under par in round one of the NCAA DII Championship, putting them in fourth place after carding a -1(287) at the Avalon Lakes Country Club on Monday afternoon. The Bucs sit three strokes back from the lead.
The Bucs, making their 15th trip to the national finals, are looking to capture their fourth national title.
NOTEWORTHY:
- AJ Ewart is top-ten, sitting tied for ninth.
- Barry is second as a team in par-4 scoring, at +6.
- Barry is third among all teams in par-5 scoring at -8.
- Barry leads the field in total pars with 57.
