MIAMI BEACH, Fla. -- The Barry Buccaneers men's golf team is tied for 1st place after one round at the SSC Tournament at the Normandy Shores GC. The Bucs are tied with Saint Leo and are -9 (275). 

NOTEWORTHY:

• Barry leads in par-3 scoring at +2.
• The Bucs also lead in par-5 scoring at -13. 
• 53 pars, 20 birdies and 1 eagle. 
• Three Bucs are in the top-five. AJ Ewart is first, Felipe Alvarez and Nicolas Quintero are both tied for second.
