WINTER PARK, Fla. -- The Barry Buccaneers lost both games of a Sunshine State Conference baseball doubleheader to eighth-ranked Rollins at Alfond Stadium on Saturday, 5-4 and 12-4, losing the series three games to none.

NOTEWORTHY:

  • Frank II Gonzalez (2-2) was tagged for the loss in the first game. He worked 5.2 innings, allowing four runs (three earned) on eight hits and two walks.
  • Anthony Bennetti (2-1) took the loss in the nightcap. He allowed five runs on six hits and a walk in 2.1 innings.
  • Spencer Mangum (3-0) got the final two outs in the top of the ninth to receive the win in game one.
  • Kieran Casey (2-1) worked five innings, allowing four runs (three earned) on four hits and two walks in game two.
  • Jaxon Mills tossed the final four innings, allowing just three hits, to earn his second save.
