FRESHMAN (2022): VARSITY: Played in 22 games while starting 16 ... Hit .232 with two HR, one double and nine RBI ... Had a slugging percentage of .357 and an on-base percentage of .353 ... Had a fielding percentage of 1.000 ... JV: Appeared in four games and started all four ... Hit .538 with four doubles and one RBI ... Had a slugging percentage of .846 ... COMPOSITE: Overall hit .289 with two HR, five doubles and 10 RBI. Named to the Athletic Director's List in the fall and in the spring ... Also earned a spot on the SSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

CoVID (2020 - Assumption): Appeared in three games for coach Mike Rocco with the Greyhounds before the season was shut down due to the pandemic.

HIGH SCHOOL: Led coach Richard Barnaby's Blue Devils to a 14-9 record as a senior at Leominster High in Massachusetts ... Batted .339 win one homer ... Named most improved as a junior and win a gold glove as a senior in the outfield ... Also played on the Nor'Easters and Legion baseball teams ... Volunteered with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes organization.

PERSONAL: Son of Anibal Garcia, Jr., and Abigail Garcia ... Younger brother, Nicolas, is on the junior varisty at Barry ... Has two other siblings, Jesse and Keila ... Majoring in exercise science.
