LAKELAND, Fla. -- The No.1-ranked Barry Buccaneers men's golf team had a solid second round at the Sunshine State Conference championship and currently sit in first place at -2 with a one-stoke lead on second place Saint Leo. Nicolas Quintero shot a 69 in the second round to finish the day in a four-way tie for the lead at -4.
The Bucs are joined at the invitational by the ten other SSC schools including No. 12 Nova Southeastern, No. 16 Florida Southern, No. 21 Saint Leo, No. 25 Lynn, and No. 41 Tampa.
NOTEWORTHY:
- The Bucs recorded the most pars of the field with 117. Quintero has the second most pars of the field with 27 followed by teamates AJ Ewart and Marcus Dahl who have 25 each.
