The Bucs are looking forward to their first action of the season, having had their first five games postponed. For the Panthers, it has been seven straight postponements.

Bucs' sixth man Toru Dean returns to man the point. He chipped in 8.8 points and 2.1 assists as a rookie last year. The Bucs also welcome NCAA Division I transfers T.J. Smith (6-8, Toledo) and Amari Haynes (6-9, New Orleans) as well as freshman sharpshooter Nick Anderson (6-3, Schererville, Ind.)
The Panthers return a pair of double-figure scorers from the 11-17 team of a year ago. Sesan Russell averaged 18.8 points, 4.1 rebounds and 2.6 assists. Runako Ziegler chipped in 11.4 points and 3.1 rebounds.
