ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. -- Barry University's second-ranked women's tennis team rolled past No. 14 Drury in the NCAA Division II Championships Round of 16 at Sanlando Park.
The Buccaneers won all but one set -- and the one they dropped came in a tiebreaker -- in a dominating display of tennis. Now it sets up a highly-anticipated quarterfinals match with top-ranked BYU-Hawai'i.

SUMMARY:
- Verena Schmid and Isabel Rapisarda Calvo gave the Bucs a 1-0 lead when they breezed past Chung-Yen Huang and Josephine Jedrychowski, 8-1, at No. 3 doubles.
- Barry's fourth-ranked No. 1 doubles team of Ana Pain and Sonja Larsen coasted by seventh-ranked Larissa Karl and Julia Schepp, 8-2, to push the lead to 2-0.
- Zuza Maciejewska and Dasha Salnikova completed the pairs sweep when they defeated JiaQing Mo and Lara Muller, 8-4, at the No. 2 position.
- Rapisarda Calvo, the No. 21-ranked singles player in the country, beat Huang, 6-3, 6-0, at No. 3 singles to move Barry within a point of clinching.
- Larsen did just that when she beat Mo, 6-1, 6-2, at No. 4 singles.
- Salnikova, who owns the No. 11 singles ranking in Division II, won the first set in the top singles match, 6-3, over the 45th-ranked Karl. Salnikova led 3-1 in the second when the match finished.
- Thirty third-ranked Schmid had built a 6-2, 4-1 lead on Muller at No. 2 singles when the Bucs wrapped it up.
- Barry's Karina Goia was leading Jedrychowski, 6-3, 4-0, at No. 5 singles when the Bucs clinched.
NOTEWORTHY:
- Larsen tied Gizella Turbok for the school season record for singles victories at 25. Turbock had 25 wins in 2002 and 2003.
- Maciejewska's doubles victory gives her a .915 career winning percentage, which ranks first in Barry history.
- The win was the Bucs' 17th sweep of the season.

Barry will meet No. 1 BYU-Hawai'i in the NCAA quarterfinals 9 a.m. Thursday at Sanlando Park.
