MELBOURNE, Fla. -- Barry University's volleyball team will play a rare Thursday night match at Florida Tech 7 p.m. tonight when the Bucs meet up with Florida Tech in a Sunshine State Conference matchup.
The Buccaneers (11-9, 3-4 SSC) will try to move to .500 in the league standings. Florida Tech (6-13, 0-7) is 3-4 in the Clemente Center this season.
The Panthers are coming off a sweep of Embry-Riddle on Tuesday. The Bucs lost in a competitive four-set match at No. 12 Palm Beach Atlantic. Barry beat Florida Tech in four sets earlier this season at home.
Barry leads the SSC in opponents hitting percentage (.155). The Bucs are hitting .195. Florida Tech is hitting .148. Barry also leads the SSC in blocks per set (2.17). The Panthers average 1.79 blocks per set.Â
