MIAMI SHORES, Fla. – The streak continues for Barry women's volleyball as they win their eighth straight match. It is the third straight win since the start of Sunshine State Conference play and have yet to drop a set. The Tuesday night matchup featured the Panthers of Florida Tech in the Health and Sports Center Gym.

- Set One – Ivana Žujovic got the match going with a kill to put Barry on the board first. Florida Tech was able to take control and settle with a 5-2 lead. The Bucs continued to battle from behind and flipped the scoreboard with back-to-back kills from Varvara Osychenko. A 13-5 run ended the set and gave Barry the set win. Veronika Eremeeva held a long service and drilled two endline service aces. Valeriya Kozlova had six kills on 10 swings as Barry nearly doubled the number of kills as the Panthers. - Set Two – Kozlova and Zujovic had back-to-back kills to start out the second set. This time it was the Bucs that were able to jump out to a 5-2 lead. The Panthers stayed in the fight as things were tied up at 11-all, with Tech eventually taking a 13-11 lead. From that, Barry went on a 5-1 run that put them up two. Zujovic was able to call game and keep the Bucs ahead. The offense once again had a 17-kill set, this time swinging .389. The defense stepped up with two blocks. - Set Three – The Bucs were in full control of the set, never trailing, and starting it out 4-1 on the scoreboard. After a 18-18 tie, Sofya Toropova was able to give Barry some late momentum. Osychenko picked up her second service ace and Kozlova was able to bring it home. Eremeeva led the set with seven kills on 12 attempts for a .500 hitting percentage. | Barry 25, Florida Tech 21
- Three Buccaneers were in double figures for kills.
- Kozlova led the way for an error-free night with 13 kills on 24 swings, while adding three blocks.
- Eremeeva had 12 kills, three assists, and three service aces.

- Petra Brkicic had 23 assists to lead the way, one shy of her season-high.
