MIAMI SHORES, Fla.--Barry baseball completed its first series sweep of the season as they defeated Southern Connecticut State 5-3, Sunday afternoon.
The Bucs won off a four scoring innings and solid pitching including
Luis Deville's six strikeouts in seven innings pitched.
At bat, the Bucs had nine hits on the day and notably, catcher
Greg Brodzinski had three hits, including a 6
th inning double and three RBI.

Brodzinski also threw out SCSU's Julian Sobin as he attempted to score a run in the top of the 8th inning.Â

The Bucs improve to 6-2 on the season and look to continue their win streak next week as they take on local rival Palm Beach Atlantic in a three-game series with first pitch on February 20
th at 6 pm.Â
