MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- Barry University men's basketball team dropped to No. 15 in the College Sports Information Directors of America Division II media poll released Tuesday. The Buccaneers are No. 33 in the National Association of Basketball Coaches poll.
The Buccaneers (2-1) host Johnson & Wales at 7 p.m. Tuesday in a game to air on the
Buccaneer Broadcast Network.Â
Barry fell eight spots in the media poll after suffering a two-point loss at Florida Southern last week. The Bucs dropped from its No. 24 preseason ranking to receiving votes in the coaches poll -- the first regular season poll of the year.
The Bucs have been ranked for 19 consecutive weeks, dating back to the second week of the season last year. Barry is 31-12 all-time as a ranked team.
The Buccaneers own a 4-0 series record over the Wildcats.
