The Bucs only run came in the bottom of the eighth when
Nick Corbeil scored on a Lewis error which came off of the bat of
Fausto Faraldo.
Offensively,
Joey Perez and
Nick Corbeil earned the only Barry hits.
Against West Chester, the Bucs again fell behind early giving up two runs in the top half of the first, but responded in the bottom half of the inning with two runs of their own to knot the game up at 2-2. However, West Chester, with the help of some timely hitting and solid pitching, scored eight unanswered runs over the next eight innings to walk away with the 10-2 victory.
The Bucs were led offensively by
Carlos de la Osa and
Fausto Faraldo who had two hits a piece.
Cesar Aranguren earned the Bucs only RBI of the game, while Bucs starter Jon Sandola picked up the loss dropping his record to 0-1 for the season.
