Box Score MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- The Barry University continued to improve as they lanced the Nova Southeastern Knights 3-0 earlier tonight at the Health & Sports Center.
From the opening serve, the Buccaneers were in control of the match winning all three games 30-18, 30-20, and 30-22. The Bucs also registered a .314 attack percentage to the Knights .010.
Karla Bersano paced the Bucs with 12 kills, a blistering .588 attack percentage, and a match-high nine digs.
Fernanda Ferreira followed with 10 kills and a match-high five blocks.
Irene Girgis led the Knights with eight kills.
The Buccaneers will return to the road to begin their Sunshine State Conference slate at Florida Southern on Friday, Sept. 27 at 7 pm.
