                    Box Score ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- The Barry University women's volleyball team stiffled the Eckerd College Tritons 3-0 earlier tonight in Sunshine State Conference action. The Buccaneers won all three games 30-27, 30-24, and 30-28.
The Buccaneers led for the first half of game one, but the Tritons held close until the Bucs reached 15. At that point the Tritons tied the match at 15 a piece and took the lead 18-17. However, the Buccaneers rallied to regain the lead and held on for the 30-27 win.
In game two, the Bucs jumped out to their biggest lead of the entire match at 18-10. Even though the Tritons fought back, the Bucs fended off their late surge to win 30-24.
In the final game, the Bucs led early but the Triton team would not give up. With the Tritons keeping the score within reach, the Bucs outlasted Triton attack to win the game 30-28 and the match 3-0.
Karla Bersano collected 13 kills to paced the Buccaneers, while also tallying a match-high 13 digs and six blocks. 
Fernanda Ferreira followed with seven kills and 
Sarah Alexander registered a season-high eight blocks.
Two Tritons registered double-digits in kills with Delaney Menell collecting 17 and Amanda Donnell registering 10.
The Buccaneers extend their winning streak to nine games improving their overall record to 15-6 and 9-1 in the SSC. The Tritons fall to 14-16 overall and 2-8 in the SSC. The Bucs conclude their weekend conference sweep with SSC rival Tampa on Saturday, Nov. 9 at 4 pm.
