Box Score MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- The #9 nationally ranked Barry University women's volleyball team rooted out another victory for their 12th straight over the Eckerd College Tritons in a Sunshine State Conference match-up early Friday night.

The Buccaneers had no problem in game one handing the Tritons a loss 30-21. However, the Bucs had more difficulty in game two, but were able to come out on top 32-30. Game three the Bucs handled with ease winning 30-15.

Simone Ferrarezi (Jr., OH, Sao Paulo, Brazil) had an outstanding performance setting personal season highs with 23 kills, a .568 attack percentage, and 14 defensive digs leading the Buccaneers to the win. Rochelle Magill (Jr. OH, Florence, Ariz.) added 11 kills for the Bucs.

For the Tritons, no player reached the double-digit plateau for kills, but Erin Johnson and Emily King led their team with 14 and 11 defensive digs respectively.

The Buccaneers improved to 23-2 overall and 9-1 in the Sunshine State Conference while the Tritons fell to 20-9 and 5-5 in the SSC. The Buccaneers will return to action on Saturday facing off with #5 Tampa at 4:00 p.m.
