Cassandra Lee, a senior accounting major from Melrose Park, Ill., was named the Female Scholar-Athlete for the second straight year. She compiled a 3.97 GPA across eight semesters and graduated with a B.S. in accounting in May. She led the team in both batting average and ERA, and was named to the Sunshine State Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll and the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District teams. It is the ninth award for softball in the history of the program, with six of the awards coming in the last seven years.
