MELBOURNE, Fla. -- The Barry Buccaneers had a lead early in their Sunshine State Conference series opener against the Florida Tech Panthers, but fell 10-7 at Seminick-Hall Field on Friday Night.

NOTEWORTHY:
- Pavlos Pierakis (3-2) worked two innings in relief for Barry, allowing four runs (three earned) on seven hits and a walk to take the loss.
- Reilly Kuhar (1-4) went the final 4.1 innings to earn his first win of the season. He allowed three runs (two earned) on five hits and a walk.
- Santiago led Barry with three hits, while Mendez was 2-for-4 with a double, homer and four RBI.
- Seven of the nine Panther batters had multiple hits, led by Meadows and Gabe Roque with three each.
- Floroida Tech out-hit Barry 18-10.
