MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- The Barry Buccaneers lost both ends of the doubleheader 9-8 and 22-6 in seven innings in their Sunshine State Conference baseball series against the Palm Beach Atlantic Sailfish at Feinbloom Field on Saturday.

NOTEWORTHY:
- Gavin Ingram (1-2) got the win when starter Nolan Larson failed to go five innings with his lead. Ingram allowed three runs (one earned) on two hits and two walks in 1.2 innings.
- Blocker took the loss, allowing six runs on 11 hits and a walk in four innings.
- Jack Mischke came in with a run across and no outs in the ninth and managed to hold on to the lead for his first save.
- McNamara, Holmes, Parent and Steven Serna all had three hits for PBA, with Carter driving in four on a pair of homers.
- Smith led Barry with three hits, all doubles, while Opie drove in three runs.

- Elijah Budiac (4-7) went six innings, allowing six runs (two earned) on 11 hits and a walk to get the win in game two.
- Dane Wright ( 1-3) took the loss after giving up four runs (one earned) on three hits and a walk in the first inning.
- Miranda went 4-for-4 and scored four times for PBA.
- Holmes had four hits and drove in six, while McNamara drove in four.
- Smith went 3-for-4 with two more doubles to pace Barry.

Barry head to Melbourne, Fla., to face the Florida Tech Panthers next weekend.
