MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- The Barry Buccaneers lost 8-2 to the #21 Rollins Tars in the finale of their Sunshine State Conference baseball series at Feinbloom Field on Sunday afternoon.

- T1 - The Bucs fell behind in the top of the first. With one on and two outs, Connor O'Sullivan walked and both he and Collins Hughes moved up on a wild pitch. Jayden Brown bounced a single up the middle to score both runners. | Rollins 2, Barry 0
- B4 - Barry tied it in the fourth. Luca Mendez walked to lead off the inning and Lee-Anthony Santiago reached on an error by second baseman Joey Rubin. Christian Perez lined a single up the middle to score Mendez. After Brandon Delapenha reached on a fielder's choice that erased Perez and stole second, Santiago scored on a single to center, but Delapenha was gunned down at the plate. | Barry 2, Rollins 2
- T7 - The Tars sent 11 men to the plate and scored six runs in the seventh off the Buccaneer bullpen. After loading the bases with one out, Rubin was hit by a pitch from Sean Driscoll (3-2) to force in the go-ahead run. Hughes followed with a two-run single to right and Rubin scored on a wild pitch by reliever Alex Brown. Hughes scored on an error and Brown drove in O'Sullivan with the final run.
NOTEWORTHY:
- David Austen (1-0) got two outs in the bottom of the sixth, then was gifted with the six runs in the top of the seven to get the win.
- AJ Seymour worked the final three innings for his fifth save. He set down nine of the 11 batters he faced including the last eight in a row.
- Despite the fact that the Tars out-hit the Bucs 9-5, Barry left 10 men on to just seven for Rollins.
