- The Bucs opened doubles play with a win as Lynch and Machado defeated their opponents 6-3.
- Chapuis and Kodjoed clinched the doubles point for Barry with a 6-2 victory.
- Cavalleri and Trione were defeated 7-5 in a closely contested match.
- Barry entered singles play with a 1-0 advantage over Rollins.
- In singles, Lynch was the first Bucs to finish, defeating his opponent 6-2, 6-0 to give Barry a 2-0 lead.
- Trione was right behind, defeating Stoiberer and putting the Bucs one point away from clinching the match.
- Kodjoed was then defeated in an upset, giving the Tars their first point of the match.
- Machado was also defeated by his opponent, cutting Barry's lead to 3-2.
